““I am interested in perspective, composition and above all light. For me architecture is a tool with which to paint light. Light gives spaces their form and creates presence. With light I aim to capture the very soul of the spaces I paint.””
You and Me Alone 60 x 30 cm
The exhibition features 16 original paintings and a selection of accompanying colour studies. These illustrate Bea Sarrias anthropological approach to her painting practice as she researches images and sources surrounding the buildings she studies.
